BANDS
Arizona has some of the finest Irish bands in the country and hearing them at a setting like Rosie McCaffrey's is like no other. Rosie's has an intimate stage that allows you to be right next to the bands or if you'd rather see them from afar you can do that as well. Either way, it'll be a night you'll never forget. Here are some of the bands you'll hear play at Rosie McCaffrey's.
The Brazen Heads

Led by Dubliner Liam Mackey, The Brazen Heads are a raucous, bawdy, fun-loving band that kicks out high energy "Celtic mayhem." Featuring their own brand of traditional and Celtic rock styled tunes on their albums, “Who’s Yer Paddy,” & "Curse of the Hag", they’ve been credited with setting the bar of excellence on the Arizona Irish music scene. Most often described as a cross between the cheeky fun of the Bare Naked Ladies and the roguish impact of The Pogues, their ability to connect with audiences through humor, politics, and high impact musical abandon puts them in very high demand.

With Tom Bertling’s incredible vocals and acoustic guitar, along with Kevin Mauch’s “couldn’t keep up if you wanted to” bass playing, they create many different sounds. Tom, who is a prolific writer, has never settled for playing or creating one type of music. All who see and hear Kevin play, know his skills are untouchable and inspiring.

The Knockabouts

...in the little hamlet of Flagstaff, Arizona, John McGregor bought a bottle of Bushmills Irish Whiskey and dove in head first. Ordinarily, this would be just another Tuesday afternoon. However, from this bottle of Bushmills, great inspiration was born. Thus began the journey of the Knockabouts, Arizona's favorite Celtic Pub Band. Just like our founding beverage, the Knockabouts are the perfect blend of time-honored tradition, bawdy good taste, rowdy energy, and smooth harmonies. The Knockabouts' music brings the best of authentic traditional pub tunes, and blends them with a unique sound that can only come from a band that appreciates a good whiskey, the way the Knockabouts do.
